Skin is the largest organ of the body which needs to be clear and loom fresh. However, acne, which is the major problem every other person is facing, makes your skin looks bad and ugly. I have seen people and my friends fighting with acne for a very long time. People who got no acne throughout their life can also get acne at some point in their life, for example, I. I have a very dry and flakey skin and never got an acne issue but, in the past few months I have begun to experience acne and pimples on my face so I studied and researched a little that how to get rid of acne naturally at home with natural organic products rather than artificial products. There are some powerful remedies which I will list below now, which will surely benefit you in getting rid of acne at home with natural products.

Apple cider vinegar:

Apple cider vinegar is extracted from unfiltered, pressed juice from apples. It has a powerful ability to fight many types of bacteria. It has succinic acid in it which helps to suppress inflammation and reduce acne. It also has lactic acid in it which reduces the acne marks. Apple cider vinegar has to dry properties which help to pull out excessive oils from the sebaceous glands that cause the acne in the first place. However, people with extremely dry and sensitive skin should use apple cider vinegar very carefully.

How to use it:

After you are done with cleansing your skin mix 3 parts of water with one part of apple cider vinegar. Apply it with a cotton swab on to your face with patting motion. Leave it there for 5-10 minutes and then rinse it with tepid water. However, people with dry and extra sensitive skin should use this very carefully like me. When I started using apple cider vinegar for the first time, I did a patch test on my face to see if my skin is ok with it. For sensitive skin people, they should never use it daily. You can also mix apple cider vinegar into your favorite mask at home.

Honey and Cinnamon mask:

Often we don’t get time when we are going to work or university but, on weekend or whenever you get the time you should always apply these masks which are very effective when it comes to fighting with acne at home. Honey and cinnamon have some antioxidant properties which reduce acne. Acids like benzoyl peroxide and retinoid and vitamins such as vitamin B3, linoleic, omega fatty acid are all found in honey and cinnamon. They help to fight acne and reduce inflammation.  They also have an antibacterial property which helps to fight acne marks.

How to use it:

Mix two tablespoon of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon in it. Make a paste and apply this paste on your face after cleansing your face. Let it be there for 5 to 10 minutes and then rinse it off with tepid water. Pat dry with a towel afterward. Use this mask maximum twice in a week.

Spot treatment with tee tree oil:

Tee tree oil has anti-inflammatory properties and antibacterial which helps to reduce redness, swelling and inflammation from the pimple. It is very intense in its properties hence should be used carefully. Tee tree oil can be found in every skincare brand but, not all brands tee tree oil is good. My most favorite tee tree oil is from Connatural.

How to use it:

Whenever you get a bump or pimple on your face. Just put 2 drops of tee tree oil on that pimple and then leave there for 5 to 100 minutes. Let it stay there for a while and don’t touch. After that just rinse it with warm water or wipe it off with a cotton swab. Do this for one or two nights and you will visibly see a difference. Your redness, inflammation, and swelling will be gone by morning.

Detox water:

Detox water is the key through which you can get rid of all the toxins from your body. Drinking detox water as much as you can is always good for your skin and helps to clean your body. In detox water, you can add ingredients like cinnamon stick, lemon, cucumber and slices of oranges which will you get rid of acne, which will make your skin look fresh and glow. It will help to boost up your digestive system and regulate your immune system which will help you pass stool on a daily basis which will in return help you get rid of your acne.

How to use it:

Take a pan and heat the water till it gets warm then add a cinnamon stick in it, squeeze some lemon in it, cucumber slices and any fruit slices you want then shake the water well and drink it whole day. You can easily consume this water while you are at work or at home. The ingredients I love to add are a cinnamon stick, lemon and little honey.

Use Aloe Vera Gel:

Aloe Vera has healing and anti-bacterial properties which will helps to clean your pores and will help to get rid of acne. I personally use Aloe Vera gel to massage my face. Try to use organic Aloe Vera as it is available in almost every home.

How to use it:

Extract Aloe Vera gel from the leave and massage the gel on to your face let it be there for 5 to 10 minutes and then rinse it with tepid water. You should have patience and be regular in the use and you will see a visible difference in just days.  You can also store Aloe Vera gel in ajar and use it as a moisturizer daily.

In the end, I would like to say that you should always be consistent and patient while treating your acne because these kinds of problems don’t get resolved in days. You should keep on treating your acne with these remedies and after sometime slowly you will see a visible difference.
