Best Korean Night Care Routine

Korean night care routine is equally important like a daycare or morning routine. Night time routine is more preferred from morning routine as at night your skin repairs, make a new cell, and grows rapidly. The nighttime care routine involves the following steps which are the same as morning skin care routine with a slight difference.

1 Double Cleanse:

Double cleansing is the first and foremost important process whether it is day or night. The first step of double cleanse is first the oil based cleansers which are used to remove oil, dirt and sebum from your skin. For example, coconut oil and jojoba oil works best for your skin. The second step of double cleanse is using water based cleansers that removes sweat and dirt from your skin. Foaming cleansers or non-foaming cleansers both work amazing. Try using cleansers which includes ingredients such as rice extract, Aloe Vera in it.

Process:

Take the cleanser and massage it into your skin with a circular motion and then rinse it with warm water. For water-based cleansers apply cleanser on damp face.

2 Buff and Exfoliate:

Use exfoliators once or twice a week not more than that. Exfoliators help to remove the dead skin layer and cells from your skin by making your skin clear and clean. Exfoliators are of two types physical and chemical. Both work the same. For exfoliator focus on the area where you have visible pores such as nose and cheeks.

Process:

Massage your skin with circular motion with the exfoliator and then rinse it with warm water in the end. Try using exfoliators which includes salicylic acid and lactic acid in it.

3 Tighten Up by Toner:

Toner is used to balancing the PH level of your skin which becomes imbalance by cleansing and exfoliating. It is also used to tighten up your pores. It then prepares the skin for moisturizing and nourishing.

Process:

Take a cotton ball and apply toner on it then gently swipe all across your face and then pat the toner into your skin with your hands. Try buying toners which include ingredients such as Aloe Vera and citric acid.

4 Essence:

Essence is lightweight serum type. Essences are the heart of Korean skincare routine as it is used to brighten up your skin and provides complexion. It is used to brighten up your skin, clear your complexion and provide hydration. It is also helpful in cell turnover.

Process:

Sprinkle into your hands and then gently pat it on your skin with pressing motion of your hands. Try using essence which includes yeast, rice, and hyaluronic acid.

5 Treatments:

After you are done with applying essence. Apply ointment or perforators which contain power ingredients used to treat the special problems of your skin like acne, hyperpigmentation and fine lines.

Process:

Apply in the form of drops or gently pat it into your skin where the affected area is. For example tee tree oil, vitamin C. Tee tree oil is used to treat acne and vitamin c is used to treat pigmentation.

6 Massage Patch and Mask:

Sheet masks work the best when it comes to night time routine. You should use them anyways for 2 to 3 nights. Sheet mask is the soul of Korean skincare routine because they penetrate into your skin and absorbs into your skin providing moisture, hydration and all the health your skin needs. They have concentrated essence in it and the key to these sheet mask is that as they are in contact with your skin for a long time so they give all the right moisture and ingredients your skin needs.

Process:

Smooth on to your skin, then lie back and relax for 15 to 20 minutes after that remove the masks and pat the extra essence into your skin. Try using mask containing rose, green tea and cucumber.

7 Eye Creams:

As the eye area is the thinnest area of your face. Eye creams are used to treat dark circles, puffiness and treating fine lines of your skin. They create ingredients that are extra gentle and non-irritating. They also provide hydration to your eyes.

Process:

Use your small finger to gently pat your eye cream. Never rub that area and avoid your water line. Try using ingredients such as honey, ginseng.

8 Moisturizer:

The second last step is the moisturizing part. It provides moisture to your skin and hydration. The moisturizer comes in gel, cream and lotion form. It is used to lock all the moisture of your skin and provides hydration.

Process:

Gently pat it into your skin and neck. You can use this night and day time every day. Try using products which includes ingredients such as snail mucin, Centella Asiatica, green tea, bamboo, and hyaluronic acid.
